"1776" and the Declaration of Independence

Tune in on Sunday, July 3rd, at 12 Noon for the Independence Edition of "Sunday Matinee"! You'll hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence, Stan Freberg's satirical look at the signing, and the story and music of "1776", the 1969 Tony Award winning musical about events leading up to the signing of the Declaration.

In addition there will be other historical notes about the Declaration, and a mixture of songs from Broadway and Hollywood musicals about Freedom, Liberty and Independence.
